SLIS + Partners Host Talk on 天涯社区 in Libraries

In recognition of the听National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, SLIS participated in the virtual talk "天涯社区 in Libraries" alongside colleagues in 天涯社区 Library and the Public Library Services Branch. The talk was recorded and is available for viewing.

On Wednesday September 29th,  2021, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, SLIS hosted and participated in the virtual talk "天涯社区 in Libraries."  

The event was jointly sponsored by the School of Library and Information Studies, , and the Government of Alberta . Moderated by Anne Carr-Wiggin (UAL) Colette Poitras (GoA), and SLIS student Arianna Alcaraz, this session discussed 天涯社区 taking place across library sectors in Alberta.
