  • “Family” includes two adults and accompanying children age 17 and under.

Garden MEMBERSHIP FAQs

I recently bought my year-round membership, and paid a higher price. What now?
We are automatically extending all year-round memberships purchased between Nov. 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025. You will receive an extra six months on your membership. When it’s time to renew, you will renew at the lower price.
I recently bought a summer pass. There is no summer pass category now.
We are automatically converting all summer passes purchased between Nov. 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025 into annual memberships, meaning they are now good for one year from the date of purchase.
How do I receive my membership?
You can decide whether you want to pick up your membership at the Garden the next time you visit or have it mailed to you.
How do I become a Friend of the Garden?
Please reach out directly to the Friends of the Garden at friendsofuabg@gmail.com and they will be able to answer any questions you might have about the Friends.
I want to give a membership as a gift. Can you mail it to someone else?
Sure! If you would like us to mail your package to an address other than your own, or specify someone else as a membership holder contact us at 780-492-3267 or uabg.info@ualberta.ca and we'll assist you.
What does “unlimited admission” mean?

As a member, you can visit as often as you’d like in all four seasons, during regular Garden hours. Some special events are not included. .
